27 year old defender Bryon Anthony has joined the Bulls from Bristol Rovers on loan for a month.
Released by Cardiff at the end of the 2005/06 season Anthony spent the entire pre season on trial at the Memorial Stadium and was given a one year contract just before the start of the 2005/06 campaign.
Described by Rovers as a tough tackling defender Anthony made his debut in their home win against Grimsby on 12th August that year and quickly established himself as a regular member of their first team squad.
He was on the bench for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final in 2007, having only just returned from injury, but any disappointment he had about missing the game at the Millennium Stadium was forgotten as he played a major part in the play off final victory against Shrewsbury at Wembley.
In 2009/10 he made a total of 37 league appearances, including a number at right back towards the later stages of the season.
Last season he demonstrated his versatility, as he played in all positions across the back four, and was one of the club's most consistent performers.
Contracted to the club until the end of the current season, Byron is a former Welsh Youth international, and has also won eight U-21 caps for his country.
