Bantams Set For Keeper Change

Bradford are set to sign Rotherham keeper Jamie Annerson on loan for the rest of the season.

The move comes after they allowed veteran stopper Matt Duke to join Northampton on loan yesterday. Bradford boss Phil Parkinson told the press the Cobblers had 'taken over Matt's wages' and that the move would enable Parkinson to make further moves in the loan market.

Annerson will play in today's reserve match that will see Newcastle striker Dan Taylor tested, as well as defender Guy Branston's first game for the Bantams for five months after injury ended a loan spell at the Millers. Taylor, described as a powerful forward, may come in as a direct replacement for battering ram forward James Hanson, whose groin tear will see him miss six weeks.

23 year old Annerson, a former England u19 international, ended last season as the Millers first choice but has not played this season with a series a loan signings being preferred to the former Sheff Utd trainee.
