Gary Peters told this evening's fans forum that he is uncertain about how much longer several of the loanees can stay with the Bulls.
"We've got a few more players into the club but we want have any real transfer activity. Hopefully that will be both ways.
"There won't be players we want to keep going out. It's important we try to keep as many players as we can.
"But I don't think we will be bringing too many in.
"I think we've got young players that have got bags of energy, loads of legs and enthusiasm. We've got some older players that have seen the light and are coming forward.
"Delroy Facey, when I came here I didn't think he was working hard enough, I didn't think he was getting about the pitch well enough. So it was something that we talked about.
"Putting Nathan Elder up front on his own - I think Delroy thought I've got to work as hard as him if I want to be in the team."
It was suggested by a supporter that the club hadn't got a striker who could put the ball in the back of the net often enough.
"They're the ones that cost you the money that we haven't got.
"Nathan is not a renowned goal scorer, Del is not a great goal scorer.
"The young lad Richard Peniket from Fulham, he can see a goal, he scored two again this week in a friendly, Sean Canham can get a goal."
Peters wants to play a system with two forwards who might be changed at half-time for two different forwards.
"It's important you've got four forwards that can handle that sort of pace.
"You've got Yoann Arquin. He can be so exciting, he's quick. If you see him in training some of his skills and ability he's got - you think he could be anything. A little bit like Mathieu Manset.
"If he has ten weeks of really hard work in the team I don't think we'll keep him. Someone might come in for him."
Peters then answered a question about Richard Peniket.
"I've got a lot of contacts in the game. I've been known to be quite tough with players.
"Richard is a talented player who Fulham felt needed toughening up.
"They phoned me and said would you take Richard - he based in Stourbridge originally.
"I said look we've got seven players on loan at the moment and we can only play five of them. So if I take him in he can only train, he can't play. They knew he probably wouldn't play this side of Christmas but they were still happy for him to come and train here and get toughened up.
"Now he keeps knocking the goals in. We've got to judge whether it will be more important for us to keep him than one of the other on-loan players.
"He's getting close. He's a good finisher, needs to get a bit tougher. I don't think he will be a starting player but a good impact player.
"Hopefully if we can get him in the squad, Fulham will want to keep him here until the end of the season."
