Adcock to Referee on Friday Evening

James Adcock from Nottingham is set to referee next Friday evening's League two game between Hereford United and Accrington Stanley.

It will be the first time Adcock will have been in charge of a game at Edgar Street or, as far as BN is aware, any game involving the Bulls.

He was only appointed to League level last spring and didn't have the easiest of starts when he had to send three players off after an injury time brawl at Moss Road.

After the game Wycombe boss Gary Waddock described the brawl as "value for money". Later the FA fined both Wycombe and Macclesfield for their part in 21 man punch-up.

To date this season Adcock has been in charge of 16 games in which he has given out 42 yellow cards and 3 red cards.
