The Football League loan window closes next Thursday and will not reopen until January.
The Bulls currently have seven loanees in their squad, of which Simon Clist, David Cornell and Tom Barkhuisen are already to remain at Edgar Street until at least the turn of the year.
Of the others, Richard Peniket is midway through his initial month and can extend further, Nathan Elder's current loan expires near the end of December, Steven Leslie can extend his deal into January utilising his third and final month, but Will Evans will have to return to Swindon when his three month deal expires. His deal is believed to expire after next weekend's trip to Crewe.
Whether the management choose to replace Evans will largely depend on wages. The Swindon youngster is one of a number of players costing the Bulls no wages, and any replacement would likely also have to meet that requirement with Benoit Dalibard now fit, and Stefan Stam due to return before Christmas.
