The Bulls can pull out of the League Two dropzone with a win over fellow strugglers Bradford next weekend. The Bantams won't be the ones to replace the Bulls - unless there's a cricket score - after winning 1-0 against Torquay with ten men. Barnet are the target after they, like the Bulls, came back from two down but ultimately lost 3-2 to Shrewsbury. Bottom side Plymouth also claimed a point after holding a 2-0 lead over ten man Accrington before a second half collapse to draw 2-2. Dagenham are three points above Bradford after losing 2-1 at Cheltenham, while Crewe are above them on goal difference despite a 3-1 home loss to Southend. Aldershot remain a point better off after a 2-1 home loss to Macclesfield became their fourth straight loss.
At the top the Shrimps lead the table by four goals from Crawley, who beat Northampton 1-0 in the televised game. Wimbledon are third from Shrewsbury on goals scored after winning 2-1 at Morecambe. Oxford are up to fifth after beating Bristol Rovers 3-0, leaving the Pirates eight points shy of their automatic promotion target. Burton are on the fringes of the play-offs after beating fading Rotherham 1-0, while Gillingham and Port Vale drew 1-1 to halt both side's hopes of moving up the table.
In the Conference Gateshead lead by a point after beating Ebbsfleet 1-0. Second place Wrexham play tomorrow, while Fleetwood are third after a goalless draw with Forest Green. Kidderminster lost 2-1 at home to Luton to slip out of the play-offs.
