Former Hereford United player Steve Crompton has been appointed as manager at Ruthin Town.
"I’m really looking forward to the challenge," he said.
Crompton started his career at Ruthin, playing for the first team at the age of 16 before moving to play professionally at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Hereford United, Worcester City, Runcorn and Bangor City, before returning to Ruthin.
He joined Hereford during the 1976/77 season and made 34 appearances for the club, scoring six goals, before moving to Wolves in late 1978.
