News Round-Up

In a club statement following last night's Channel 4 Dispatches programme, Cheltenham say they totally unaware that former striker Elvis Hammond had failed a drugs test while with Fulham. Oxford have loaned striker Jon-Paul Pittman to Crawley for three months due to a lack of first team opportunities. The former Wycombe man has not started a League match for the U's since signing in the summer.

Both Peter Ridsdale and new Plymouth bidder James Brent are reported to have held talks with the PFA yesterday. Brent is also scheduled to meet financiers Lombard over their £2.1million charge on the club, while a third new bid - from currently unknown sources - is being reported by the local press. Bradford midfielder Lee Bullock will not play again until 2012 after a thigh problem that has ruled him out for most of the season so far was diagnosed as needing surgery.

Kettering have unveiled discounted ticket pricing for the remainder of 2011. The Poppies will now effectively pay fans to bring their kids to games with Adult admission costing £12, but an Adult who brings a child as well costing only £10.
