Plymouth boss Peter Reid hopes to sign two new strikers on loan to bolster his threadbare squad, but admits the club's financial position is hampering any deals. Reid says that the lack of information coming from the Administrator is creating anxiety among the squad. Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler is set to sign a striker on loan from a Championship side when the window reopens.

Former Bulls defender Lee Collins will miss a couple of weeks after needing surgery on a hernia related problem. He missed Port Vale's loss at Wimbledon on Saturday due to the problem. The Valiants say they will make an announcement next week regarding new investment after a 'successful' trip to the US by their Chairman and Chief Executive last week.

Former Bulls loanee Stephen Gleeson says he is likely to leave MK Dons in the summer if they fail to win promotion. The former Wolves trainee has told the local press he wants to be playing in the Championship next season. Rotherham trialled striker Kyle Vassel and full back Nathan Fox in their reserves this week. Vassel, a former Brentford trainee, previously trialled with Gillingham.

Gillingham will be without midfielder Jack Payne for a month after the teenager damaged medial knee ligaments, while reserve keeper Paolo Gazzaniga has contracted mumps leaving them with no second stopper for this weekend. Oxford striker James Constable is still on Bournemouth's radar despite rejecting a move last week. Yeovil are also said to be in the hunt but are unlikely to match the Cherries' offer.

Bradford have ended the loan of keeper Oscar Jansson from Spurs early after their signing of Matt Duke last week. The teenager was due to return after this weekend but was sent back after the Bantams decided he would not take part. Swindon forward Leon Clarke is expected to sign for Chesterfield on loan when the loan window opens tomorrow. The Spireites' veteran striker Jack Lester broke an arm last week and will miss the next three months.

Oxford loan striker Jonathan Franks will miss a month after dislocating a shoulder in a reserve game. Franks joined the U's last week but is yet to debut.
