Swindon are to discount their extortionate ticket prices by £5 for their game with Barnet. The advance tickets are currently only available to home fans. Gillingham target Kevin Lisbie says he doesn't want to drop down to League Two. The 32 year old striker is expected to join a League One side on trial this week after also turning down Southend in the summer.

The managers of Crawley, Rotherham, Shrewsbury, and Morecambe have been nominated for the Manager of the Month award. The Player of the Month award will be between Doug Loft (Port Vale), Tyrone Barnett (Crawley), Mark Arber (Dagenham), and Izale McLeod (Barnet). Crawley say they rejected a £200,000 offer from Bournemouth for striker Matt Tubbs.

Former Rotherham striker Ian Thomas-Moore has announced on Twitter that he has decided to retire after failing to secure a club for the new season. The 35 year old rejected a non-contract offer from Accrington last week and had also been training with Stockport. Kettering have axed manager Morrell Maison after a slow start to the season left their in the bottom four of the Conference.

Plymouth bidder Kevin Heaney says his deal to buy the club is not going to collapse. The property developer has missed several deadlines to hand over cash, and is still to complete the handover of cash ten days after the Administrator's last deadline. Three of his companies were in court yesterday to be told to pay up a total of £10,000 to a legal firm, but Heaney says the deal should go through when the Football League meet to ratify the takeover on Thursday.

Rotherham keeper Conrad Logan will require surgery on the facial injuries picked up during Saturday's loss to Swindon. The Leicester loanee broke his nose and lost several teeth after colliding with two Swindon players in the opening minute of the game, but carried on playing. Crewe are trialling Australian striker Brodie Mooy. The 21 year old is a former Australian youth international with limited A-League experience.
