In preparation for next Saturday's clash at Shrewsbury, Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman took his squad to Wye Amateur Boxing Club in Hereford yesterday.
"This was something different for the lads," Pitman told the Hereford Journal.
"It gave them a real fitness workout.
"It was a lot of fun, but at the same time they have really had to work hard and push themselves to the limit."
Reportedly the best 'scrap' was between Michael Townsend and Delroy Facey.
