Benoit (Bruno) Dalibard short term deal?

The streets of Hereford are, this evening, whispering that French defender Benoit Dalibard (Bruno to those who can’t pronounce Benoit) has penned a short-term deal that will enable him don the white shirt.

It is not known at this stage how long it will be before he is seen on the hallowed turf but it seems that he has done enough since recuperating from his pre-season hamstring injury to convince the Edgar Street management that he’s worth an extended stay.

Dalibard is a 20 year-old six-footer who has played his recent football at Guingamp in France. Guingamp currently compete in the Chamionat National, the third level of French football. Chelsea's Florent Malouda spent three seasons at Guingamp before joining Lyon.

Guingamp have until recently played their football in the same league as Red Star 93, the club who had Yoann Arquin on their books.  Red Star 93 have a proud history having been founded back in 1897 by French football legend Jules Rimet (yes, the one that the FIFA World Cup was named after).  They are currently managed by Cameroonian Alain Mboma.
