Macclesfield have loaned young midfielder Michael Thomas to Leek Town for a month. The 19 year old youth team graduate has made a handful of sub appearances for their first team. Crewe boss Dario Gradi says any hopes of getting loan players from Man City have ended after the Premier League club tried to poach one of Crewe's youth team players.
Wimbledon boss Terry Brown has left it up to striker Marcus Bent as to whether he signs for the club. The veteran striker has been training with the Wombles, but is still looking for a deal at a higher level after leaving Birmingham in the summer. Swindon are to sign trialist Lander Gabilondo, but fellow trialist Michael Wojtanowicz will not be offered a deal. Spanish winger Gabilondo has been playing in Spain's third tier, while Austrian forward Wojtanowicz has been playing in the Austrian second tier.
Bradford's match with Sheff Weds in the Johnstones Paint Trophy will be screened live by Sky. It will be the Bantams second TV outing, after their Carling Cup game with Leeds was also shown. In a Q&A on their website, Wrexham's Supporters Trust say that the club will lose £1million over the next 12 months. The Trust currently have £400,000 in the bank, pledges of £250,000 more, and aim to raise an additional £300,000.
Barnet have signed defender Exodus Geoghaghon on a one month deal. The released Peterboro man comes in with ex-Bull Darren Dennehy and fellow central defender Daniel Leach both currently injured. Accrington have signed Burnley striker Wes Fletcher on loan until January. The 20 year old had a nine game spell at Stockport last term, scoring once.
Southend defender turned makeshift striker Bilel Moshni was left out of Saturday's match with Accrington after a dressing room fight with a teammate. The fiery Frenchman was claimed by the club to be tired after observing Ramadan, but the local press are saying differently with Moshni claimed to have entered into an altercation with a teammate after their Carling Cup loss to Leyton Orient. The Echo is also reporting that loan midfielder Alassane N'Diaye was also involved in a training ground tussle with winger Jemal Johnson and is expected to be sent back to Crystal Palace.
