As reported on BN yesterday former Hereford United striker Mathieu Manset came off the bench to score two goals for Reading in their 2-2 draw with Millwall.
His first goal came when he 'unleashed a 25-yard drive in the 86th minute'.
Three minutes later he beat the offside trap to head the equaliser.
"He has something special in his locker," manager Brian McDermott told the press.
"We signed him from Hereford in January because he has got the ability to produce that sort of magic.
"He has been working on his fitness since joining us and when he came back for pre-season you could see he was fitter and stronger.
"He scored two terrific goals and it will be all about him today, But he’s 21, a terrific lad and very new and there’s more to come from him.
"We certainly don’t want to sell him."
