Linington to Referee at Wimbledon

James Linington is set to be the referee for the AFC Wimbledon/Hereford United game next Saturday.

Central defender Michael Townsend will hope that Linington will keep his cards in his pocket during the game as last May he sent the Bulls player off at Macclesfield. Townsend and Matty Hamshaw clashed in the box, the Silkman then tumbled and the referee pointed to the spot.

To date Linington has been in charge of three games this season in which he has given out nine yellow cards.
