Gibbs to Referee Carling Cup-Tie

West Midlands based Phil Gibbs is set to take charge of Tuesday's Carling Cup-Tie against Brentford.

Gibbs has already been at Edgar Street this season as he refereed the pre-season friendly against Bolton.

Last August he was the man in the middle for the home game against Gillingham. He booked Janos Kovacs during the 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile Brentford started their League One campaign with a 2-0 home win over Yeovil yesterday.
