On Friday night, the Wye Valley Rotary Club are hosting a 'Wacky Walk' at the Racecourse to raise funds for charity.
Bulls boss Jamie Pitman will start the Wacky Walk at 7pm, with the event starting at 6pm. This from the Rotary Club's website:
Get your wellies, slippers or just about any funny footware on to take part in Hereford Wye Valley Rotary Club’s Wacky Walk, to be held on Hereford Racecourse on Friday, June 17.
We hope that you will join in the fun and wear anything crazy that you can find - and three-legged (or more!) entrants will certainly be permitted.
We anticipate that each walker will be sponsored to raise as much as possible for our very worthy cause. In addition, there will be many other fun activities for all the family, including:
- > Limbo Dancing
- > Steel Band
- > Games and competitions
- > Barbecue
- > Licenced bar
Parking is free at the racecourse, so turn up with all your friends and relations. You can enter the Wacky Walk for just £5 (adults) or £2 (under-12s). Entrants will also be given a sponsor form to get their friends and relations involved. There will also be a Caribbean Fancy Dress theme - with prizes - for those that want to get really involved.
