Aldershot boss Dean Holdsworth has told striker Damian Spencer he will not be offered a new deal at the club due to financial constraints. The former Cheltenham man started only nine games last season due to injury. Wrexham have signed defender Chris Westwood after he rejected a new deal at Wycombe. The 34 year old turned down a one year deal with the Chairboys to sign a two year deal for Dean Saunders.

Bradford are reported to be the subject of takeover talks from local millionaire Steve Parkin. The current Guiseley director wants to buy them and Bradford Bulls rugby league side and put the two together in a new stadium. Bristol Rovers seem set to sign Yeovil defender Adam Virgo after he rejected a new deal with the Huish Park club. The 28 year old is also rumoured to have rejected overtures from Wycombe.

One time FA Trophy opponents Hucknall have staved off a winding up order after agreeing a payment plan with the taxman over a £75,000 debt. Stockport are holding up midfielder Greg Tansey's move to Inverness in the hope that an English side offers money for him. Tansey, 22, will leave on a free if he goes over the border.

Rushden manager Justin Edinburgh says he would consider the vacant Kettering job if he left the Diamonds. The 41 year old has seen several of his side walk out before the events at the weekend. Wrexham have signed Cambridge striker Danny Wright for an undisclosed fee. The 6ft 2in forward's sale is a financial decision by the U's as he is one of their higher earners after only signing a three year deal last summer.
