One of the items discussed at the Football League AGM last weekend was the use of the multi-ball system which tended to speed up games.
Hereford United used the system for much of last season in home games but on a couple of occassions the referee stopped a game because there were two balls on the pitch at the same time.
Now it appears the system is to be dropped and the fourth offical will be in charge of spare balls.
