Ling Takes Torquay Hot Seat

Martin Ling is the surprise choice to be named as the new manager of Torquay United.

The local press report that Ling was not on the list of interviewees seen last week, and was only interviewed this morning for the post after a late application.

The 44 year old left Cambridge in February after a difficult 18 months at the cash strapped club, with a three year spell at Leyton Orient before that.
