Sportsmans Evening Success

Last Thursday the Vice Presidents Club hosted its first Sportsmans Evening.

Guest speakers were Tommy Hughes and Tony Byrne, with Tim Russon questioning them on their career beginnings and their time as players with the Bulls. Former keeper Hughes also spoke of his promotion to manager, and the financial crisis that he has to cope with as PFA representative for the club.

The evening was well supported with the full board of directors present along with around 50 supporters who gave the speakers generous applause at the end of over two hours of good entertainment, and a plentiful buffet, for £5.

Another evening is hoped to be announced shortly.
