Manset stays on the Bench

Former Hereford United striker Mathieu Manset will have to put up with a place on the Reading bench for the time being despite the club failing to score enough goals.

"He won’t start at Norwich tomorrow," said manager Brian McDermott.

"We’re working with him and his fitness levels. At the moment he’s made a great impact and we think he will be a big player for us. We just need to get him up to speed. We will start him when we think he’s right."
