Morecambe are the visitors to Edgar Street on Tuesday and will be looking to get their recent good run of form back on track after their 2-0 defeat at Stevenage yesterday.
Former Hereford United mid-fielder Craig Stanley is still with the Shrimps and he has spoken about Tuesday's game.
"We know we need to go to Hereford and get three points to keep the run - apart from today - going. We know it is going to be a tough game, going back to my old ground, and they need the points to get away from the relegation area.
"They've been doing well lately."
Meanwhile Jamie Pitman and Russell Hoult, pictured at Edgar Street by Andy Compton of the Hereford Journal, will have an extra couple of days to decide how to approach the game without both Mathieu Manset and Guillem Bauza.
At present it looks as though they will go with a strike force of Stuart Fleetwood and new loan signing Jake Jarvis.
Ryan Green is also available after missing the last two games through suspension.
