Several scouts were reported to have watched Hereford United's striker Mathieu Manset at Adams Park last night.
Queens Park Rangers were said to have been one of them.
"The publicity he gets is obvious because he’s a real handful and that will attract attention for anyone," said manager Jamie Pitman.
"He's doing well for us. He's a very strong lad."
Manset was taken off towards the end of the game.
"It was just tiredness. He's worked very hard again.
"We have to look after him a little bit."
Recently scouts from both Everton and Bolton watched Manset at Edgar Street.
