Reaction from Stuart Fleetwood

After the victory at Aldershot, goalscorer Stuart Fleetwood spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"Cracking win, we needed it. Everyone could tell we were confident today, to get a goal in the first three minutes set us up perfectly", said Fleetwood.

Fleetwood was delighted with his strike. "Confident from my goal Saturday, it bounced up nicely for me, just hit it and see what happens, caught it pretty sweet and it ended up in the back of the net."

Whilst the striker will have his name in the headlines, he was full of praise for the Bulls' defence. "Best I've seen them play all year. If they put in performances like that, then we'll win more games. They deserve alot of credit today."

Fleetwood was subbed off towards the end of the game, but enjoyed Joe Colbeck's late goal. "All up on the bench, he had a big touch, thought the keeper might get it, was a pretty little dink. We always looked threatening on the counter-attack"

The Welsh striker was also full of praise for his strike partner Mathieu Manset. "Great ball from Manset to set up Joe Colbeck. Manset was superb today. Manset is a handful for anyone in this league and he's earning so much respect from the lads for his work-rate."

Fleetwood was looking forward to a break from League Two on Saturday, when Hereford travel to Lincoln for an FA Cup Second Round replay. "Bit of a distraction on Saturday with the FA Cup, we'll go there and enjoy that."
