Hereford United chairman David Keyte has said that the board is in no rush to replace Lennie Lawrence who has been appointed as assistant manager at Crystal Palace.
Lawrence has signed a deal which Keyte thought was too good to turn down.
"A six figure salary for two and a half years at age 63 with the training ground 20 minutes from his home," Keyte told the OS.
"We have a decision now whether we need to fill that gap. We'll take a bit of time now."
Meanwhile Keyte has spoken about the situation with Guillen Bauza who may have played his last game for the Bulls last Saturday.
Keyte revealed that he is on trial with a League One club but it isn't Brentford which had been reported on BN.
"He was very happy with the club but his agent has been touting his name around clubs.
"He's had a weeks trial this week at a League One club, it's not Brentford which has been touted about, and if he gets a contract good luck to him.
"If he doesn't the offer is there that he can continue in the same arrangement as before."
