Former Yeovil manager Gary Johnson has quit Peterborough according to Sky Sports.
A short statement on the Peterborough OS said:
It was mutually agreed that Gary Johnson and Peterborough United Football Club Ltd part company. The Manager and Chairman could not see eye to eye on policy.
Johnson joined Peterborough from Bristol City last April on a two year deal following the departure of Jim Gannon.
Current Darlington manager Mark Cooper and current Port Vale manager Jim Gannon have had short spells in charge at London Road, since Darren Ferguson, son of Manchester United manager Sir Alex, led Posh to a double promotion from League Two to the Championship.
Peterborough are currently seventh in League One.
