Gary Waddock, the Wycombe manager, is under no illusion that Hereford will be easy to defeat this evening at Adams Park in the third round of the FA Cup. And the prospect of playing at Sheffield Wednesday in the next round isn't on his mind.
"We've got to try and beat Hereford first,” Waddock told the Bucks Free Press.
"Whoever gets through will know who they have got, that's it. We've got a big obstacle in the way of us first and we have to focus on that.
"They are a good side. Their league position, for me, is false. The way they played against us and their current form shows they are a very good outfit.
"They have a very good side who move the ball very well. You can tell from their last result, winning 4-3 away, they are very attack-minded. On occasions they leave themselves open but they have good attackers up front who are good finishers."
