Former Hereford United mid-fielder Andy Ferrell is looking for a new club after being transfer listed by Gateshead.
"I haven't enjoyed it this season," said Ferrell "I've never had a run in the side though.
I'm the first to admit I haven't done myself justice at Gateshead. I haven't been enjoying my football or training and that is not like me.
"It's probably best to move on. It hasn't worked out at Gateshead but I'm disappointed that I may have to move away from home again.
"I've had a decent career and wouldn't swap it for the world. I've learnt something from every club I've been at and every manager I've worked under.
"I'm a confident lad but for some reason I haven't been firing on all cylinders or been my normal self. I have got to look after number one and get a club that is right for me."
