Nicky Featherstone, currently on loan with Hereford United, has been released by Hull City according to Sky Sports News.
This could pave the way for him to join the Bulls on a permanent basis.
Featherstone was the BN man of the match last night at Wycombe.
His loan spell at Edgar Street is due to end shortly.
He is 22 and signed his first deal with Hull in December 2006.
