Ideal Location says Canham

Hereford United's new signing Sean Canham has spoken about his move to Edgar Street.

"Simon (Davey) spoke to me about a move to Hereford and league football," Canham told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"It's down from where I come as well so it's an ideal location.

"He's an ambitious manager from what he's done in the past so that really attracted me."

Meanwhile manager Davey has welcomed Canham to Hereford.

"He's a player that we believe at this level will score goals for us," said Davey.

"He's got height, he's got stature and a bit of presence and he's a natural goalscorer.

"So hopefully we can give him the opportunity to show his skills."
