Darren Jones spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester after this afternoon's match at Dagenham.
"The first half was always going to be hard," said the Hereford United defender.
"They were at home so they were going to put the pressure on but we soaked it up.
"Second half we stepped it up and they just had a lucky goal. Good strike.
"I thought we could have had all three points. Their first goal was five yards offside."
BBC's Keith Hall mentioned contracts to Jones.
"I don't think anyone has been offered anything at the moment. With the chairman selling the club I think he has a lot on his plate. Hopefully something will happen this week whether I'm told yes or no. It's up to the chairman."
