As reported earlier on BN Tony James, the former Hereford United player Graham Turner tried to sign a couple of months ago, was given the two main awards at an end of season event at Burton Albion last night.
The 31 year old central defender received the Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year.
"It’s brilliant," said James as reported by the Burton Mail..
"First season in the League and to get two player of the year trophies is fantastic — I couldn’t have dreamt it at the start of the season.
"To get it from the players is brilliant, it means they’ve appreciated what you’ve done during the season, and to get that from the fans as well is just the icing on the cake really.”
