Turner looks forward

Hereford United manager, Graham Turner, buoyed on by four wins in a row, has been looking forward both to tomorrow's League Two match against Grimsby and the rest of the season.

"It’s a pleasure to look at the league table," Turner told the Hereford Times.

"But Grimsby are fighting for their lives at the moment and that keeps the pressure on.

"We are within striking distance of Crewe and Accrington now and the aim is still to finish in the top half of the table."

With just six games left Turner feels there is plenty for the players to impress.

"We've got some quite interesting games coming up before the end of the season," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"After Bournemouth and Accrington (both away) we've got Rochdale coming here - fighting for the top spot - and Rotherham here - still in a play-off position.

"Plus the fact that individually players - there are a lot of contracts up here - have to be looking after themselves.

"Either making sure they get a new contract offer here or elsewhere."
