Season Ticket Sales Start

Although it's only the beginning of April some clubs have already published their season ticket prices for 2010/11.

Take Bradford City for example. For several seasons they have had a policy of selling 'cheap' season tickets and for next season many of their offers are good value.

Adult season tickets are £184 or £8 per home match. Junior season ticket cost £92 and supporters under 11 can have a season ticket for just £5 as long as they are accompanied by an adult. There is also a payment plan to help with the purchase.

These offers have to be taken up by May 9th. After that date prices rise to £250 for adults and £125 for junior.

Notts County are another League Two club where season tickets for next season have already gone on sale. Their adult prices are from £280 to £350.

New owner Ray Trew has promised to keep to these prices even if his club plays in League One next season. However it is very obvious that he needs all the income he can get hold of at present as the club is £millions in debt.

Rochdale, who look almost certain to be promoted, are another club who are keen to sell season tickets well in advance. Whilst their prices are fairly high at between £324 and £360 for an adult, they do have a terrace offer at £270. Under 7's can have a free ticket with an adult.

Certain Rochdale offers also include a number of incentives including a free scarf, a free drink and a free holiday said, by the club, to be worth up to £260.

Finally Shrewsbury where their 'first' offer has already finished. In essence supporters could purchase an adult ticket at between £262 and £315. However their family tickets are perhaps best value.

For example an adult with two children, one over 11 and the other under 11, could obtain tickets for £315. Based on 23 games that equates to £13.70 per game.
