Grimsby have named former Lincoln boss John Deehan as head of recruitment. He will assist boss Neil Woods in acquiring new players. Lincoln have extended the loan of Fulham midfielder Matt Saunders until the end of the season. Cheltenham will benefit to the tune of £45,000 a season if they agree a groundshare deal with Gloucester City. Gloucester council are said to be putting up half the money for the deal.

Former Bulls trialist Marc Manga is on trial at Gillingham alongside Serge Mitanga, who played for England in the homeless World Cup. Norwich are the latest side to drop their reserve side due to finances. They will play friendlies rather than compete in a league.
