Extra players wanted says Turner

In his post Morecambe match interview with BBC Hereford and Worcester, Graham Turner stressed he wants to bring extra players to Edgar Street before the transfer deadline.

"The deadline is not far off," said the Hereford United manager.

"We've got to bring some players in. That's a certainty. We've got to strengthen the squad.

"There have been a lot of telephone calls over the last four or five days.

"One or two that we wanted have gone to bigger clubs.

"But the aim to bring somebody in will be persued and hopefully by Saturday or certainly by the following Thursday we should have strengthened the squad."

Keith Hall then asked Turner about the vacant managers position.

"I don't know what will happen over the next few weeks. That remains to be seen.

"Right at the moment I'm doing it along with Jamie Pitman, Tony Ford and obviously Chris Adamson is still here.

"So, right at the moment, there are no plans to make massive changes.

"What I need is an improvement of fortunes on the pitch."
