Hereford United manager John Trewick has spoken about his efforts to bring fresh players to Edgar Street. The transfer deadline closed at 5pm this afternoon.
"It would be fair to say the squad is a bit light with injuries and suspensions," Trewick told the Worcester News.
"I have been working hard over the last week to 10 days to make things happen and get players in because I am sure we are going to need them.
"Tony (James) was the main one and there was something else going on as well but nothing actually materialised in the end."
Trewick says he will try to strengthen his squad when the emergency loan window opens next Monday.
