James Walker, who spent two months on loan with Hereford United has signed for Gillingham where he will join several other ex-Bulls.
Earlier this afternoon 22 year old Walker became a free agent after his contract with Southend was ended by mutual consent.
Walker scored twice for the Bulls in eight starts in the ealy autumn.
The other ex-Bulls currently at Gillingham are Darren Denehey, Tristan Plummer and Josh Gowling.
