News Round Up

Rochdale, Morecambe and Crewe are all claimed to be watching Lancaster striker Jordan Connerton, who has scored 29 times in Unibond Division One North this season. Barnet have hit back at Ian Holloway after the Blackpool boss said he was quoted a ridiculous fee for Albert Adomah. The Bees say the price quoted was a bid from another Championship side, and that the Tangerines would have to match it.

Dagenham say they have not agreed a fee with Crewe for defender Billy Jones, but have made an offer. Bournemouth midfielder Mark Molesley is to have an operation on his damaged ankle after it failed to respond to treatment. He is expected to miss another two months. Grimsby are trialling striker Tam McManus. The former Scottish u21 has spent most of his career in the SPL, but has spent the last two seasons in the MLS and Irish football.

Jimmy Quinn appears to have failed to land the manager's job at Weymouth after his car broke down. He was due to be unveiled yesterday, but car trouble forced a postponement and owner George Rolls has now withdrawn the offer. Forest Green have sold striker Andrew Mangan to Wrexham for an undisclosed fee. Mangan has not played since his betting ban expired, but has cost the Welsh side an reported £50,000.

Lincoln have transfer listed bulky defender Janos Kovacs. The Hungarian was a regular until the arrival of Chris Sutton, with the Imps originally paying for his services from Chesterfield.
