Accrington say they are happy to wait until the end of the season before clearing their transfer embargo. They remain under sanctions for an outstanding loan from the PFA, but are happy to remain with a squad of 20 until the end of the season when the last dose of Football League money for the season will clear the debt. Southend have announced that they are no longer under a transfer embargo.
Conf South side Basingstoke have been given eight weeks by a court to pay £12,000 to the taxman. The club had been paying off a historic debt of £140,000 at £5,000 a month, but recently missed a payment. The club say they will clear the sum.
