Jackson moves to Burton

Richard Jackson has joined Burton Albion on a one month contract. The former Hereford United defender has recently been playing for Whitby Town.

"After the unfortunate injury to Ryan Austin and with Andrew Corbett's absence I felt it was necessary to strengthen the right-back position," manager Paul Peschisolido told the club's official website.

"Richard Jackson is a player I admire, he's professional and a great lad.

"He's a natural full-back and I was reluctant not to sign him the first time after he had been on trial with us."
