Brighton have appointed Gus Poyet as their new manager on a deal until the summer of 2011. Bournemouth say they expect to clear their tax bill this week, ahead of their court date on Monday. They say they have paid £80,000 of the remaining £150,000 with the rest to be cleared later this week. Cheltenham have ended the loan of striker Tom Denton from Huddersfield, and will look for other loan signings. They have also won an appeal against Lee Ridley's red card last Saturday.
Dagenham have signed Gillingham midfielder Adam Miller on a months loan. Chesterfield have loaned midfielder Lloyd Kerry to Alfreton Town for a month.
