Two former Hereford United players face spells out of the game.
32 year old Gavin Mahon, who plays for Queens Park Rangers, faces four months out. He is to have an operation on his left knee next Tuesday.
Meanwhile Dean Beckwith, now with Steve Guinan at Northampton, is reported to have hamstring problems and could several games.
"Dean might have done both his hamstrings which is quite unusual and I think he'll be out for at least two weeks," said Cobblers boss Ian Sampson.
"He's definitely pulled one of his hamstrings, the other one might just be a bit tight but we aren't quite sure on that at the moment."
