Any last hint that the Irish u21 side would qualify for the European Championships were dashed last night.
They lost 4-1 to bottom side Armenia, with Darren Dennehy playing the whole match. They have now sunk to the bottom of the group, without a win in six matches. The Irish u21's next meet up in Euro qualifier action on March 2nd.
