Guy Ipoua, the former Hereford United striker, has been helping new signing Mathieu Manset both with his move to Edgar Street and his training as a striker.
20 year old Manset, who speaks no English, is from the Parisian suburb of Creteil, and Ipoua is a family friend.
“Guy has been coaching me in my movement and in how to score goals,” Manset told the Hereford Times.
“He has given me lots of good advice.
“Now I’m looking forward to carrying on playing and scoring goals.
“I like life in Hereford. The people are very nice here and I’ve no problems.”
