I'm going to see the Ref - Trewick

John Trewick wasn't too happy with the performance of the referee this afternoon as he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"It will be interesting watching the DVD," said the Hereford United manager.

"I would guess that they have fouled on fifty or sixty occasions during that game and there was an extraordinary amount of shirt-pulling.

"I've never seen as much shirt-pulling in all my life.

"I don't think they had a player booked and the persistant fouling was incredible. And it keeps breaking the game up.

"At the end James Walker, everybody could see, was having his shirt pulled. It was stretched about a foot away from his body and yet nothing was given.

"And the point is they keep doing it because the Ref doesn't give a yellow card in the first place. In other words if they do it again they might be off the pitch. So to my mind he is encouraging it.

"And I'm popping into see him in ten minutes."
