Edrissa Sonko has joined Hereford United on a one year deal.
Sonko, a 29 year old midfielder born in Gambia, was released by Tranmere last May.
According to the OS he will be in this afternoon's squad to face Accrington.
Sonko was born 29/03/80 and started his career in Belgium. Known as 'Eddy' he signed for Walsall in July 2007 following a successful trial spell.
He started his career with top Belgian outfit, Anderlecht, for whom he made a handful of appearances before landing a big-money move to Roda JC in the Dutch top-flight.
He became a popular figure during his seven years with Roda as he made 132 League appearances.
Linking up with Xanthi Skoda in January 2007 where he had ten outings before realising his ambition to play in England with a move to the Banks's Stadium.
Capped at International level by Gambia, he is an attack-minded midfield man who is comfortable on both the left and right-hand side.
Last season he moved to Tranmere, made 25 appearances for them and scored 5 goals, two of which were against Hereford United last Boxing Day at Edgar Street. The game was drawn 2-2.
