Crewe have recalled teenagers Chris Clements and AJ Leitch-Smith from their loan spells at Icelandic club IBV due to their injury crisis. Striker Clayton Donaldson broke a leg on Saturday to miss two months, adding to their fitness problems. Rotherham's pitch will receive further complaints from Huddersfield after last night's JPT match between the sides. Manager Lee Clark called the pitch 'worse than a park pitch'.

Torquay turned down an approach from Colchester for manager Paul Buckle, with the U's appointing Aidy Boothroyd this morning. Notts County have loaned fringe forwards Sean Canham and Ben Fairclough to Hayes & Yeading and Ilkeston respectively. Barnet have given full back Ahmed Deen a two year deal after impressing during his short term contract.
