Bartlett impresses Trewick

Hereford United manager John Trewick has told the press that he was pleased with how well keeper Adam Bartlett played in the Trophy Tie. The keeper pulled off a vital save in the penalty shoot-out to help the Bulls through to round two.

"I always fancied Adam to make a save and sure enough he did.

"It was a good team performance without talking about individuals and we really deserved to go through to the next round.

"I was very pleased even in the second half when everyone kept battling and blocking shots.

"I thought we kept our shape in the first half and worked hard and closed them down and had several chances."
